- 3:30 PM1hBook Talk—Fighting Irish Football: Photographs from the ArchivesAuthors Charles Lamb and Elizabeth Hogan will explore the history and tradition of Notre Dame football through photography, including showing never-before-seen photos from Notre Dame Archives, during the book talk “Fighting Irish Football: Photographs from the Archives.” They will also explore how sports photography developed over time and will share their experiences working in the archives and compiling their book, Fighting Irish Football: The Notre Dame Tradition in Photographs. The event is free and open to the public and will also be featured as part of the Notre Dame Alumni Association’s Reunion Weekend programming. It is cohosted by the University of Notre Dame Press, Hesburgh Libraries, Cushwa Center, and the Alumni Club of St Joseph Valley. Books will be available for purchase at the event, and 10% of all proceeds from the day will be donated to the Alumni Club of St. Joseph Valley.
