As You Like It is brought to life by the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival’s Professional Company, under the direction of Sara Holdren, a multitalented theatrical director who also serves as the theatre critic for New York Magazine. As You Like It is brought to life by the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival’s Professional Company, under the direction of Sara Holdren, a multitalented theatrical director who also serves as the theatre critic for New York Magazine. Fast, funny, and engaging, As You Like It promises to be a delightful night of theatrical entertainment. In the wake of banishment and personal peril, irrepressible heroine Rosalind and hopeful hero Orlando find themselves in the forest of Arden, where Rosalind's long-exiled mother, Duke Seena, has created a new kind of community.
