Veloso, Herbert A. Simon University Professor, Emerita at Carnegie Mellon University. Veloso is currently head of artificial intelligence research for J.P. Morgan. Berente studies how digital innovations such as artificial intelligence technologies drive change in organizations and institutions. He teaches courses on Strategic Business Technology and is co-director of the GAMA Lab and affiliated faculty in Notre Dame's Lucy Family Institute for Data and Society, as well as the Notre Dame Center for Technology Ethics.
