- DescriptionThe Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra presents its annual Fall Concert. In this lecture, Therese Cory, associate professor of Thomistic studies, will present. The lectures take place in the Andrews Auditorium on the lower level of Geddes Hall adjacent to Hesburgh Library. The talks are free and open to the public. - Nov 171:00 PMMeet Your MuseumThis drop-in tour will introduce you to your new Raclin Murphy Museum of Art. Join a student gallery teacher or a member of the Museum staff to explore the architecture of the building through some of its most unique spaces, revisit familiar favorites from the collection, and discover works of art on view for the first time. Meet at the Welcome Desk. No registration is required, but each tour is limited to twenty participants. This tour will explore all gallery levels of the Museum. Although the tour will keep moving between spaces, gallery stools are available upon request.
- Nov 173:00 PMCatholic Mass in FrenchMass will be celebrated in French on Sunday, November 17, at 3 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Crypt (below the Basilica). Anyone is welcome to sing in the choir. Additional French choir rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm in O'Neill Hall (Sacred Music) Room #324. No choral experience required. As always, the concert is free to attend. Instead, as is our tradition, we will collect a monetary donation from attendees during the concert. This year your donation will go to help our neighbors in the southern United States who experienced devastation this year from two hurricanes and their after effects. UMCOR or the United Methodist Committee on Relief sends 100% of all donations to those in need. A representative from UMCOR will be present for the concert and will share more about the work UMCOR does to support the well-being of fellow human beings.
