Join us for a special edition of Shamrock Kickoff x Go Gold, hosted in collaboration with the Student Activities Office and the McDonald Center for Student Well-Being as part of Recovery Week. This week’s celebration brings a purple twist to your pregame festivities—recognizing hope, healing, and the power of community. Come enjoy yard games, purple-themed crafts including custom button-making, and face painting, all while getting in the game day spirit. Grab hot dogs and grilled cheeses from Weiner Shack and relax with friends before heading to the stadium.

Game Day Festivities: Medieval Combat featuring Theatrica Gladiatoria

Near Northwest Neighborhood Arts Café
Stroll or take a horse drawn wagon ride through the Near Northwest Neighborhood to enjoy the annual Arts Cafe. The event hosts a variety of booths to include food, artists and crafters. Musicians will be performing throughout the day. Various service organizations from the South Bend area will also be present. This is a family friendly event so bring the children as there will be supervised games for children. Houses that have been rehabbed or built will be open to view.
