Mentor Up: Addressing Equity and Inclusion
Diversity, along a range of dimensions (e.g., cultural, racial/ethnic, sexuality, gender, neurotype,disability, etc.) offers both challenges and opportunities to any relationship. This session is designedto provide scholars the knowledge and skills to: 1) improve and expand understanding of howdiversity influences mentor-mentee interactions and 2) recognize the impact that conscious andunconscious assumptions and biases bring to mentoring relationships and how to manage them.
