Inclusive Course Design: Embedding Cultural Diversity Outcomes in Your Course

Monday, January 27, 2025 2:00–3:15 PM
  • Location
138 Corbett Family Hall - Use door 3
  • Description
Facilitating students' cognitive and intellectual development through our learning outcomes and content is good, but what about the outcomes related to cultural diversity such as empathy or understanding their own and others conflict style when working in teams? In this workshop we will examine ways to articulate and assess learning outcomes related to civic engagement, intercultural and global competencies regardless of your specific course content. We will also explore ready to use small scale activities and tools you can implement in your course that will help you and your students become more effective interacting across cultural differences as we continue to walk the walk in making Notre Dame and our society more inclusive and welcoming.
Facilitator:

Horane Diatta-Holgate, Program Director of Inclusive Pedagogy

https://learning.nd.edu/workshops-and-events/2025/01/27/inclusive-course-design-embedding-cultural-diversity-outcomes-in-your-course/
