In this two-part program, we will examine how the novel's core ideas intersect with the visual language and concepts in the exhibition. We will collectively explore Butler's novel in the first session at the Main Library, and in the second session (Saturday, May 17, 2:00–3:00 p.m.), to be held at the Raclin Murphy Museum, we will consider how our literary findings can be seen and experienced in Tossin's exhibition. We will discuss different types of live session activities and strategies, such as lectures, discussions, breakout groups, and simulations. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their own live session strategies and discover new ones from their peers. Finally, participants will have the chance to try out different digital tools and strategies on Zoom with others, so they can practice before their first class meeting. - May 164:00 PMND Band Commencement ConcertThe Notre Dame Band presents its annual Commencement Concert. This performance marks the final time that senior band members will perform at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, and is a preview for the band's international tour program. Selections on the program will include wind band classics, orchestral transcriptions, jazz tunes, and some traditional Notre Dame favorites. This concert is free and open to the public! This is a free but ticketed event. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Ticket Office one hour prior to the performance. To guarantee your seat, please pick up your tickets at least 15 minutes prior to the show. In the event of a sell-out, unclaimed tickets will be used to seat patrons waiting on standby.
