A 22,000-square-foot facility, the White Field facility is part of the Center for Flow Physics and Control. In addition to a wind tunnel that features an 8-ft. diameter fan and requires a 1,750-horsepower motor, the facility houses a compressor and a turbine for jet engine component testing. This area is open for parking during football games and there is a shuttle which takes visitors to the stadium.
