McCourtney Hall - West is a LEED Gold-certified research facility and the first dedicated research building in the East Campus Research Complex, supporting collaborative, state-of-the-art research across the <a href="https://science.nd.edu/">Colleges of Science</a> and <a href="https://engineering.nd.edu/">Engineering</a>. The building incorporates numerous sustainable features, including LED lighting throughout the interior and exterior to decrease electricity usage, and high-efficiency fixtures and sensor-metered lavatory faucets, which help the facility use 37% less water than standard new facilities.
