Review the 2024-25 academic calendar. The University of Notre Dame’s 180th University Commencement Ceremony will take place on Sunday (May 18) at Notre Dame Stadium. It will also be livestreamed on the University’s YouTube channel. Adm. Christopher Grady, the vice chairman and acting chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will be the principal speaker and will receive an honorary degree along with six others. Kerry Robinson, chief executive officer of Catholic Charities USA, will receive the 2025 Laetare Medal, the oldest and most prestigious medal given to American Catholics. Weather permitting, graduates will process into the stadium at 9 a.m., and the ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m.Please review the Commencement web pages (https://commencement.nd.edu/) for important information, including the Schedule of Events page.
