Set to the searing poetry of Yevgeny Yevtuschenko, this work remains as timely and powerful today as when it was first heard in 1962. Glee Club alumnus Michael Holderer '03 will join the Symphony and Glee Club as bass soloist. The all-Russian program will also include the first movement of Tchaikovsky's masterful Violin Concerto, with NDSO Concerto Competition winner Maya Kvaratskhelia as soloist.
Originally published at germanandslavic.nd.edu.

https://cslc.nd.edu/news-and-events/events/2025/04/25/nd-symphony-and-glee-club-shostakovich-babi-yar/
