Recent survey and experiential data from the Notre Dame campus on the use of AI in written assignments will provide the foundation for a workshop designed to spark conversation and provide solutions. We will share the results of a new survey of first-year students in writing courses, which reveals their attitudes and experiences with the use of generative artificial intelligence.
