If you are a faculty or staff member who is currently caring for an aging parent, a spouse or relative, or child with special needs, please consider joining the Caregivers Support Group, which meets monthly from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in 301 Coleman-Morse Center. Mentor Up: Addressing Equity and Inclusion
Diversity, along a rangeof dimensions (e.g., cultural, racial/ethnic, sexuality, gender, neurotype,disability, etc.), offers both challenges and opportunities to anyrelationship. This session is designedto provide scholars with the knowledge and skills to: 1) improve and expand their understanding of how diversity influences mentor-mentee interactions and 2)recognize the impact that conscious and unconscious assumptions and biasesbring to mentoring relationships and how to manage them.
