East Asian Culture Day will feature cultural activities like various games and traditional arts such as calligraphy and painting. The primary aim of East Asian Culture Day is to immerse our students in the languages and cultures of China, Japan and Korea. It provides an opportunity for them to engage with peers and faculty from different language backgrounds. East Asian Culture Day has consistently demonstrated its value by promoting interactivity, fostering a multicultural understanding, and strengthening our community's ties. This workshop will help participants to understand the impact of students' prior knowledge on their learning, using current pedagogical research and frameworks.
