Designing lecture-session demonstrations and hands-on activities in STEM
Demonstrations and hands-on activities in STEM lectures provide a unique opportunity for students to predict, observe, and analyze the concepts of the lesson. Integrating aspects of inquiry-based learning into these lessons can optimize student engagement. In this workshop, we will explore writing learning objectives that can be met using demonstrations and lesson design features that make the most of these learning opportunities.
