As You Like It is brought to life by the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival’s Professional Company, under the direction of Sara Holdren, a multitalented theatrical director who’s also been a regular theatre critic for New York Magazine. Fast, funny, and engaging, As You Like It promises to be a delightful night of theatrical entertainment. Banished to the idyllic forest of Arden, irrepressible heroine Rosalind seeks to restore her long-exiled father to his rightful place as ruler, while romantically entangled with the put-upon hero Orlando. As a merry cast of characters fall in and out of love (and in and out of disguise), Rosalind strives to restore the harmony of her world -- and reclaim her family’s stature.
