  • Description
Lin Li is the James P. Storer Assistant Professor of Asian History at Kenyon College in the Department of Asian and Middle East Studies. Li's research and teaching center on the production of structural violence along the lines of gender, ethnicity and disability across the Japanese empire and the representation of this violence within historical memory and popular culture in the Asia-Pacific from the Cold War onward.
The lecture is part of a Justice and Asia project organized by Xian Wang, assistant professor, East Asian Languages and Cultures, sponsored by the Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies, Keough School of Global Affairs.
In support of the Liu Institute’s growing commitment to sustainability, we will no longer be offering drinks at our public lectures and panels. We encourage audience members to bring their own water bottles or to drink from nearby water fountains. Thank you for your understanding.
