Description: As generative AI becomes increasingly integrated into student work, faculty face new challenges in maintaining academic integrity while leveraging AI as a learning tool. This workshop combines survey insights, practical strategies, and assignment design principles to help faculty navigate AI use in written assignments with transparency and integrity.
We will explore recent Notre Dame survey data on first-year students' attitudes toward AI in writing, discuss ethical challenges, and examine how faculty can design clear and fair AI usage policies.
