- Apr 48:00 PMNotre Dame Chorale 50th-Anniversary ConcertThis event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Chorale and the 32 years that Alexander Blachly, who is retiring in June, has been the Chorale's director. The program includes great works by Handel, Bach, Schubert, Schumann, Debussy, and Stravinsky. The first half of the concert features the Chorale with Paivi Ekroth as piano accompanist. The second half features the Chorale accompanied by the Festival Baroque Orchestra in six masterpieces of the choral literature. Through conversations about works of art and personal reflection in the galleries, discover how you can embrace and live out the Biblical passage. Thursday, April 3, 5:30–7:30 p.m. or Saturday, April 5, 1:00–3:00 p.m. FREE, but registration is required. Limited to 25 participants for each session. The program is the same for both dates.
