Master Class: Fluid Dynamics: The Flows that Connect us to our Common Home (students)
Diogo Bolster,  Frank M. Freimann Professor of Hydrology, and Henry Massman, Department Chair of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences

Join for an interactive exploration of fluid dynamics, revealing how some of the simple principles of flow are crucial for understanding and addressing human challenges, in the built environment, in the natural environment and their interface where we reside. Through simple demonstrations and introduction of some simple concepts, discover how to use fluid mechanics to protect buildings during storms, how to predict how contaminants disperse in the environment and how to have fun at a birthday party if it needs some livening up.
