We’ll extend our heartfelt welcome to new students and families, celebrating your journey and offering inspiration as you embark on your academic adventure within the vibrant Notre Dame community.

Shuttle buses will run from Purcell Pavilion, Joyce Center to downtown South Bend and back to campus from 5:15 – 9:30 p.m.
Get a taste of downtown South Bend’s vibrant food scene! In partnership with Downtown South Bend (DTSB) and the Downtown Dining Association (DDA). Your Notre Dame education can take you far beyond campus! This session will feature Notre Dame staff who will outline opportunities for studying abroad and doing international internships, engaging in global service opportunities, and building up language proficiencies. Notre Dame students will also share their own experiences.

A presentation of need-based aid at Notre Dame. Topics will include a general overview of financial aid, the application and notification process, financing options and programs, and a question-and-answer session.

The Notre Dame Network: Connecting Students and Alumni

One aspect that sets Notre Dame apart from many other universities is the lifelong loyalty and support of its alumni. This panel discussion features the Notre Dame Alumni Association and the Meruelo Family Center for Career Development. Staff will discuss initiatives that facilitate the connection between alumni and students for support in internships, networking, job opportunities, and the national and global alumni club network.

Nourishing Your Spirituality

Our Global Family: Support Services for International Students

International students make an incredible journey to be part of the ND Global Family. In this session, hear from current international students about their transition and how they found their home under the Dome at Notre Dame. They will share their stories and answer all of your questions about living in dorms, adjusting to American coursework and culture, and, of course, the weather.

The Center for Student Support and Care is dedicated to providing Notre Dame students with comprehensive, individualized care to ensure academic and social success both in and outside the classroom. Comprised of both the Care and Wellness Consultants and the Sara Bea Center for Student Accessibility Services, the primary goal of the Center is to serve as a resource and advocate for students with a variety of needs. Come learn from current students and center staff about how the center can help you march on to victory!
