But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. Extraordinary soprano Lise Davidsen stars as the volatile diva Floria Tosca for her first time at the Met. David McVicar's thrilling production also features tenor Freddie De Tommaso in his eagerly anticipated company debut as Tosca's revolutionary lover, Cavaradossi, and powerhouse baritone Quinn Kelsey as the sadistic chief of police Scarpia. Sacred Music Notre Dame, the Singing Irish of Sacred Music at Notre Dame, members from the Notre Dame Children's Liturgical Choir, and the Sacred Music Festival Orchestra perform Haydn's The Creation (1798). Drawing from the books of Genesis, Psalms, and John Milton's epic Paradise Lost to represent the six days of creation, Haydn was inspired to compose his first oratorio, now an iconic Western masterwork, after a Handel festival including Messiah. Many ways exist to give shape to the phenomenon that was Frozen, from the $1,250,000,000 it grossed at the box office to its fast adaptation to a theme park ride and Broadway musical. Perhaps most telling is the sheer volume of folks who can sing the soundtrack with little baiting. As such, our screening will be the sing-along version of Frozen so warm up those pipes for a group karaoke experience. Nothing else is added to the story known well other than the lyrics as subtitles; it's still sisters Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) trapped in an unending winter with Anna venturing with Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and friends to break the spell keeping them below zero.
