With the goal of enhancing the scope and pace of experimental programs across Notre Dame, the Engineering and Design Core Facility (EDCF) offers extensive experience in the development of custom hardware and equipment. From consultation to detailed design work to rapid prototyping and testing, EDCF facilitates the process of going from concept to construction by providing professional engineering support for researchers wishing to develop cutting-edge technologies. Assistance in the areas of electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineering is currently available. The EDCF welcomes users from all campus departments, as well as other academic and industrial institutions.
