The Center for Sustainable Energy (ND Energy) at the University of Notre Dame is pleased to announce the Energy Studies Minor (ESM) Class of 2024; the largest graduation class since the minor started in 2012 with 52 students completing the minor’s requirements.

Students will attend a recognition ceremony on Friday, May 17, and receive a certificate of achievement and a tri-colored cord (navy, green, white), signifying completion of the minor. The program is hosted by ND Energy with special guest speakers, including Fr. Terrence P. Ehrman, C.S.C., and Peter C. Burns, Henry Massman Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences, ND Energy’s director, and the minor’s academic adviser. The Convocation Address will be delivered by Diogo Bolster, Frank M. Freimann Professor of Hydrology and Henry Massman Department Chair of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences. The program will close with remarks by Ginger E. Sigmon, ND Energy’s managing director, and a reception for the students and their families and guests.
